I saw a news article today that was very interesting. It shows how creative people are getting in an attempt to sell their homes. The story was about an elderly Wisconsin man that was offering a 10 year stake in his life insurance policy as the beneficiary. Basically if the man dies within 10 years of the sale of his home, the new owner gets his $500,000 life insurance all to themselves. That is pretty creative house selling.

This is just one of the many stories I have heard recently of people getting creative when selling their homes. Having seen this reminds me of what some people do on eBay when trying to generate traffic to their auctions. Some get a little crazy, but it does get attention if nothing else. I’m curious to hear some other stories or ideas that anyone may have on other ways to get creative when selling real estate.
